It was rumoured a while ago that Jonathan
Hickman was working on… something, most
obviously a comic again with one of his frequent collaborators Chris Bachelo for Marvel Comics. We didn't know
what.
Well, we do now. Games Radar has run the news that
they are working on a story for a new Moon Knight anthology, Moon Knight: Black, White & Blood, following the
recent Marvel naming of such books, such as Carnage, Elektra, Deadpool,
Wolverine, and the like.
The project also has the legendary Marc Guggenheim
who has written comic books like Blade, Star Wars: Age of Rebellion, X-Men Gold,
Wolverine, and Blade, and superstar comic book artist/illustrator Jorge Fornes
with credits on Thunderbolts, Wolverine, Dr. Strange, X-Men, Guardians of
Infinity, Avengers and Dare Devil to name a few.
And with a Moon Knight trailer dropped,
with Marc Spector playing the awesome Oscar Isaac (X-Men, Star Wars) sounding
like Alan Bennett, now is a good time for Marvel
Comics to get press for some of their own stuff as well. Jonathan Hickman
recently stopped writing as X-Men lead writer, and he has teased a big new
Marvel Comics project. This likely isn't it, but it may well fill the gap.
