Eru” which literally means fear in the Yoruba language of the populous South-Western people of Nigeria is a dark twisted fantasy comic about an antihero who is really a hero by his deeds ridding the world of evil and its minions. In this third issue, we now get to see Eru's human form, have a better understanding of the hero’s background and what makes him who he is. It is has been likened to a Nigerian spin-off of Spawn with a uniquely African flavour. Loved it and I personally recommend you read it also.

According to the comic’s creator, Tobe Ezeogu he had this to say about the next installment of the comic below paraphrasing:

“It is different from Issues I and II it is like you are driving and you veer left sharp turn so harsh no one sees it coming because it is just different. I am going into the monster’s mind, so you will get a front row seat into how it sees its environment and what it feels in his human shell. Previous versions were testing the waters if you call it then Issue III is the #JumpOff before the dive. I am hoping to drag a thoughtful sigh after you are done reading it in empathy.  The kind you get when you finish reading a good book then start to think how well you can relate to the character and its flaws”

The line art was done by the creator’s brother Ozo Michael Ezeogu and colours by Franklin Ikechukwu. The character was created by Tobe Ezeogu. Eru is published and owned by Comic Republic Media makers of the popular comic titles such as The Might of Guardian Prime, Hero Generation, Avonome, Ireti, Aje and Vanguards Rising.
